Uganda Cranes forward Dan Wagaluka has started training with Kenyan
Premier League side AFC Leopards and could join the club if all goes
well.
Wagaluka started training with the team on Thursday 30 April and the
club’s head coach Luc Eymael says he’ll assess him over the next couple
of days.
“I’ve been very specific with the kind of players we need to sign in
the upcoming window. I need a holding midfielder, two wingers and a
good striker,” Eymael side.
“Wagaluka is a right winger with experience but I will need to
assess him. He’s just trained for some few hours and I have really not
observed him well and I hope to do so over the next few days.
“We also have a friendly match on Sunday 2 June and I intend to
field him to see how he reacts and plays in a match situation. If all
goes well we will sign him in the upcoming transfer window,” he added.
Wagaluka was poised to join Western Stima on a three-year deal at
the beginning of the current season but the move did not materialise
after they failed to reach an agreement on the personal terms. Source...Supersport
